It is my pleasure to release the quarterly edition of Newsletter of MSME-Development Institute, Nagpur for the year 2018-19. The newsletter mainly focuses on the awareness created by MSME-DI on the opportunities available to MSMEs through Central Government and other promotional agencies. With the publication of e-newsletter, this Institute would be able to activate its network to reach out and dissemination of information on the activities of MSME-DI to all MSMEs.
The main purpose of the Newsletter is to bring awareness about the role of MSME-DI, Nagpur in helping budding and existing entrepreneurs to establish themselves to sustain and grow their pursuit of establishing enterprises. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Sector is an important pillar of the Indian economy as it contributes significantly to industrial production and exports.

MSME Scheme
The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India (GoI) has adopted the cluster development approach as a key strategy for enhancing the productivity and competitiveness as well as capacity building of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and their collectives in the country.
MSME Champions
MSME-Champions is a technology-driven centralized control room, grievance management, and information platform launched by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) under Government of India.
Marketing Assistance
The Marketing Assistance Scheme was launched with the main aim of improving the marketing capabilities and competitiveness of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The scheme was launched by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.

MSME Sambandh
MSME SAMBANDH is a Public Procurement Policy Monitoring Portal, sharing factsheets about public procurement by Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), and facilitating officer login to spublish such factsheets.
Udhyam Regestration
An Udyam Registration, also known as an MSME Registration, comprises of a government sign-off provided along with a Recognition Certificate and a Unique Number. This is instrumental if you wish to certify that your small or medium business or enterprises is legal and operational.
